Public Works Supervisor – Vehicle Maintenance Division
$68,291- $83,007 annually with excellent benefits,
including PERS 2.7% at 55

The Public Works Supervisor plans, organizes, directs, and supervises the activities of assigned personnel, equipment, and operations within the Public Works Vehicle Maintenance division. General supervision is received from a Public Works Manager. Direct supervision is exercised over one or more lead workers and assigned staff within the Vehicle Maintenance division. This is a working supervisor position with the vacancy on the second shift, which includes working evenings and nights.
Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent required. Five (5) years of broad and increasingly responsible journey level experience is required; including two (2) years lead experience. A certificate from a qualified vehicle maintenance program or certificate in management from an accredited college may be substituted for two years lead experience.
Possession of a valid Class A or B California State Drivers’ License with passenger endorsement or ability to obtain within six months is required.
ASE Master Certification in one of the following fields is highly desired: Automotive, Medium/ Heavy Truck, School Bus, Transit Bus.
